TEACHER GRANTS

Birmingham Education Foundation Grants

BEF grants make a difference. Together with community support, we are able to encourage excellence and innovation that, in the words of one teacher, “are what set BPS apart from other districts.” There are several different grants available to teachers. These grants are meant to support idea, projects, exceptional programs and approaches which fall outside of the regular school or district budgeting parameters.
Public Schools.

BEF Grants support academics, arts, athletics, technology, and character education. If you've got an idea and are looking to write a grant, start at our grant guidelines page. There you will learn about our policies and review procedures. After reading through, we encourage you to visit our grant application page where you can read about the four kinds of grants that we offer, as well as download the grant application form and sample grants.
