Annual fund dollars will directly benefit our staff and students, with 100% of your donation returning to our classrooms. Your tax-deductible donation is vital to maintaining the tradition of excellence in Birmingham Public Schools. Thank you for your support!

Honor an Educator
What better way to thank a teacher or staff member for their dedicated service to students in our schools than to honor them with a contribution to the Birmingham Education Foundation? Whether you’re looking for a class gift or your child is graduating to a new school, giving a gift in a teacher’s honor shows them how much they are appreciated and valued.

A note will be sent to each honoree to let them know that a gift was made in their honor. Honor an Educator gifts will be announced in the BEF’s Annual Report published in the fall of each year.

Grow the Hoeffler Endowment
Established in 2007 by family members of former BPS Superintendent John W. Hoeffler, the Hoeffler Endowment has grown to nearly $25,000. Investment earnings from the endowment are used to fund grants that have the greatest potential for increasing student achievement as determined by the BEF Board of Trustees.

Planned Giving
The Birmingham Education Foundation welcomes gifts of securities, stock or property. If you would like to discuss making a planned gift to the BEF, please contact Executive Director Laura Couger at 248-203-3030 or email bef@birmingham.k12.mi.us.

Create a Tribute or Memorial for someone special
Are you looking for a creative way to commemorate a special occasion in the life of a loved one? Whether you wish to honor a graduating senior, or mark a milestone such as a birthday, anniversary, or bar/bat mitzvah, consider making a tribute to the Birmingham Education Foundation.
