Each year, the Birmingham Education Foundation generates excitement about the innovative programs it supports through special events. Community organizations, local businesses, and individuals have an opportunity to directly impact the mission of the BEF by sponsoring or underwriting a portion of these events.

The Unabashed Bash

Our signature event, the Unabashed Bash is a special dinner and night filled with festivities that takes place at the Townsend Hotel. The evening features live and silent auction opportunities, musical selections from student performers, and a focus on student accomplishments.

The “Bash,” as it is fondly known, is the Foundation’s most significant fundraising event and is well attended by both educators, parents and community leaders.

To find out more about the Unabashed Bash or to get involved in planning this popular event, please contact Executive Director Laura Couger at 248-203-3030 or bef@birmingham.k12.mi.us.

Toast Art Garden
A huge thank you to those of you who supported art in Birmingham Public Schools, by attend the TOAST Art Garden. The last two pieces of the art garden were created by students from Groves and Seaholm under the mentorship of some of the best urban artists in the area. The June 6 event was a great success and allowed all to meet the artists, and acknowledge our talented student artists. The Seaholm ABC Electric Strings also performed. Proceeds from the Art Garden will fund art and music programs in Birmingham Public Schools. This project was made possible through the generous support of TOAST Birmingham, Bank of Birmingham, Bolyard Lumber, and Max Broock Realtors.
