Community organizations, local businesses, and individuals have an opportunity to directly impact the mission of the BEF by sponsoring or underwriting a portion of these events.

Toast Art Garden
Let’s celebrate art in the Birmingham Public Schools! On June 6, 7:00 p.m The Toast Art Garden will be in full bloom at 203 Pierce Street, Toast Birmingham. The last two pieces of the art garden are being created by students from Groves and Seaholm under the mentorship of some of the best urban artists in the area. The June 6 event is a great opportunity to see all of the art, meet the artists, and acknowledge our talented student artists. The Seaholm ABC Electric Strings will also be performing. Proceeds from the Art Garden will fund art and music programs in Birmingham Public Schools. The event will feature live music, free food, and great art! You can preview the online auction at: http://www.biddingforgood.com/supportBEF/ToastArtGarden . New pieces are being added weekly. This project is made possible through the generous support of Toast Birmingham, Bank of Birmingham, Bolyard Lumber, and Max Broock Realtors. For more information call 248-203-3030.

I didn’t know there was anything living in there. They’re really moving.”

- 3rd grader looking through a stereomicroscope – purchased with a grant from the BEF.

“The BEF has made it very easy and accessible to apply for a grant. Without the support of the BEF the LINKS program would not be possible.”– Stacey Raznick, Quarton LRC teacher.
