Each year, the Birmingham Education Foundation generates excitement about the innovative programs it supports through special events. Community organizations, local businesses, and individuals have an opportunity to directly impact the mission of the BEF by sponsoring or underwriting a portion of these events.

Unabashed Bash

Our signature event, the Unabashed Bash is a dinner/dance that takes place at the Townsend Hotel. The evening features live and silent auction opportunities, musical selections from student performers, and a focus on student accomplishments. This year the Bash theme will be Bright Lights. Bright Future. The Bash will be held on February 11, 2012, 6:30 p.m. Private Reception for Table Sponsors at 6:00 p.m.

The “Bash,” as it is fondly known, is the Foundation’s most significant fundraising event and is well attended by both educators, parents and community leaders.

“The BEF has made it very easy and accessible to apply for a grant. Without the support of the BEF the LINKS program would not be possible.”– Stacey Raznick, Quarton LRC teacher.
